What we collect when you browse

The site uses no tracking cookies and no advertising tools. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, records technical data such as your IP address and browser type to keep the site secure and running, and counts visits in aggregate form without cookies. This data is not used to identify you.

If you write to us

If you email the address on the Contact page, we receive your email address and your message. We use them only to reply, and we delete them whenever you ask.

Links to Booking.com

In the guide, the links next to “Where to stay” open a search for accommodation on Booking.com. They are affiliate links: if you book through them we earn a small commission, at no extra cost to you. When you open them, Booking.com may collect data under its own privacy policy. We never receive your personal data or the details of your booking.

Purchases

Purchases take place on Payhip. You enter your name, email and payment details on Payhip’s page, and they are processed by Payhip and the payment processor (Stripe) under their own privacy policies. From Payhip we receive what we need to handle the order: name, email, products bought and country.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete your data by writing to [email protected]. You can also contact the data protection authority in your country.
